Writing to your MP is an excellent way to help the BHS campaign for more off road riding. We have been engaging with our local MP, Andrew George, who has written to the appropriate ministers on our behalf.

This mechanism allows you to get, via your MP a personal reply from the appropriate govenment minister. We previously got a reply from Jonathan Shaw with regard to Coastal Access. The reply was not satisfactory but lobbying in this way keeps up the pressure. (You can see that reply on our previous Coastal Access page.)

We show below the reply we have just got back from Andrew George and you will see he is taking action on our behalf, by asking further questions off the minister and off the County Council.

You may say it will have no effect - HOWEVER the more these folk get asked about our bridleways they appreciate more that there are riders out there who do need somewhere safe to ride.

Please do write to your MP, Councillors, County Council. The more that write the better will be the effect of the BHS campaign. - Think what the Ramblers have acheived!
