Bridleways and Byways
This parish has a number of bridleways and one byway. One bridleway is in the grounds of
Llandhyrock (the NT charge to access it!). The rest are around Lostwithiel itself.

FP from FP 13 north through Wood. Joins Bridleway running north east to Town Boundary near Newton
CC Priority BRONZE ***** 0.45 miles. Important Bridleway in Llanhyrock BUT Please tell me how to
get to it without permit off NT - is this Legal ?????

BR from Huntington Lane to Croth
CC Priority GOLD ***** 0.60 miles. Most Important - Saints way
Last Report: Sept/ 2011 - After extensive restoration the bridleway got destroyed again in Nov
2010 - awaiting further restoration by Cornwall Council
BR from Newham Road near farm. Heads down to stream on Town Boundary. Repaired at public
expense
CC Priority GOLD ***** 0.15 miles. Most Important bridleway link between unclassified roads.
Last Report: September 2011 - Usable after clearance work by local rider but needs further
attention
Br from Lanwithan House to Madderly Moor
CC Priority SILVER * 0.18 miles. "Dead End" Bridlway - but connects to white lane.
Last Report: Sept 2011 - Completely Blocked and unusable.
BR from Terrace Hill to Bodmin Hill
CC Priority GOLD **** 0.08 miles. Useful Town Link

Last Report: Apart from 6 difficult gates in .25 miles this is a very nice byway.
