The Kerrier Trail

The Kerrier Trail starts Canonstown (on the A30) West of St Erth. The trail goes on bridleways close to St Erth and then via St Erth Praze onto bridleways and byways to Gwinear. From Gwinear it loops south of Camborne and follows some lovely bridleways to Barripper and on through Pendarvis Woods and then on a quiet lanes to the village of Bolenowe via Troon. The Trail then takes bridleways to link with and follow the Great Flat Lode Trail and on north of Lanner up over Carn Marth where lovely views may be seen. The trail then skirts Caharrick using parts of the new Tramways Trail and then links with the Poldice Valley Trail through Unity Woods, to pass through Wheal Busy and then on to Blackwater. Alternatively a northern route can be taken which goes via Kehelland, the Red River, Tehidy Country Park Trail to Portreth and the Coast to Coast Trail.
